Regularly consuming these foods that are low in nutrient value and high in just about everything that is bad for you has led to a nation that has let technology improve just about every facet of their citizens lives except when it comes to what they choose to put into their bodies. We are a culture that has come to expect our meals to be fast and hassle free and have gotten away from the basics, and now the results of this mindset can clearly be seen in the digestive problems that we face.
The problems of processed foods
1: Processed foods have little or no nutrient value
Ever wonder why you can finish a whole box of cookies or bag of chips and still wind up feeling hungry? That is because foods that are overly processed carry with them very little nutrients that your body craves. So, you can eat a whole bunch of it, filling your tummy and your body will still be yearning for the nutrients that it needs to function. You can end up consuming vast amounts of food stuff and still wind up being undernourished.
2: Processed foods have no water
Fresh fruits and vegetables are laden with water that help carry nutrients into your body and cleanse toxins out via your digestive system. Processed foods however, rarely contain water and just get slumped with the other bodily wastes making you even more toxic.
3: Processed foods leave you feeling hungry
As touched upon in the first point, processed foods just leave your body craving something more substantial triggering a vicious cycle in which you are full yet still feel the urge to eat. This is your bidy trying to tell you that it wants nutrition and not just a belly full of junk.
People can easily get stuck in this cycle of eating garbage feeling hungry still and then eating more garbage which builds up toxins and lead to all these various digestive disorders. Then they will pop a few pills to feel better and then eat even more junk. Instead, they should take care of their GERD, acid reflux,and other problems the natural way by going to the grocery store and purchasing foods that are fresh and real and do not come in easy to heat cardboard boxes.
